06wp02.JPG (68018 bytes) This is Orca. He was the alpha male in the main pack until November, 1997 when he sustained a mysterious injury to his L4 vertebra and became paralyzed from the waist down. Since then he has been removed from the main pack and undergoing extensive physical therapy.
06wp04.JPG (64530 bytes) As you can see in these photos he is continuing to make remarkable progress. Wolf Park periodically issues reports on his condition.
