uBid SUCKS!!!!

Don't Patronize uBid!!!

I have discontinued my membership with uBid and removed the previous link from this page due to uBid's total disregard for their customer's welfare.

I purchased a hard disk drive from uBid back in December of 1998 only to discover it was bad. I contacted the company (On-Line Asset Brokers) which offered the drive for sale through uBid and was instructed to return the drive under the terms of the issued warranty and they said they would send me a replacement drive. Thre months later I still have not received the replacement drive.

Each time I call OAB they say a drive will be shipped. But still no drive!

I finally called uBid to complain. uBid's reponse was "no response". They said they would not intervene, that it was not their problem, and that I was on my own!

I have since placed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to see if they can take some action, or at least file a complaint against OAB.
